How does it work?

  1. Special acrylic dome passes the daylight on reflecting pipe when placed on the roof.
  2. Daylight which enters the pipe system is transmitted like a mirror to the reflecting diffuser, due to the high reflectivity of the pipe.
  3. The diffuser provides natural lighting and distributes daylight in a homogenous way.

It also enables the user to save energy by decreasing the need for air-conditioning and decreases the heat load inside caused by artificial lighting.

On sunny, weather SUNVIA SV550 has equal lighting performance of 400 W power fluorescent.

Acrylic Dome.

1. Acrylic Dome:
It has a 92% efficient light transmission (DIN5036), 12 Kj/m² (impact strength (DIN 53453) made of special material. Self-cleaning by rain and the structure is snow repellent.

Made of seamless aluminum, it permits the complete installation to be made from the roof directly. It is lightweight, corrosion resistant, electro-static painted and allows drainage in the case of condensation.

Tailored design features easy installation, made of solid aluminum, it is lightweight , corrosion resistant and electro-static painted.

4. Reflective Pipe:
Beeing manufactured especially for daylighting systems, it has a high reflection coefficient of over 98 % ( 98,5 % DIN5036-3, 99 % ASTM E-1651), UV-resistant, 99,99 % silver coated and is manufactured from 99,85 % purity aluminum.
